Letting go While Staying Connected; Fostering Independence and
Critical Thinking in Our Children
“When the stakes are high, tensions may fly.” In this
workshop, parents will learn effective communication strategies
to successfully negotiate developmental stages and demands. By developing
the skill set of the consultant, participants will be liberated
from the role of the foreman. Instead of creating tension and dependence
through micromanagement of their children's lives, parents will
learn to foster autonomy and independence, improve communication
skills and contribute to their children’s success and well-being.
