Facilitating Social Skills:
A Workshop for Parents
SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA — Children and adolescents require a
toolbox of social skills to develop and maintain friendships and
succeed in school and other settings. In this workshop, parents
will learn to help their children build skills and develop interpersonal
awareness. We will establish a foundation for understanding social
skills and deficits, including new developments regarding non-verbal
learning disorder. Finally we will identify techniques for home
intervention and resources within the community.
